Nike Dunk High “Light Chocolate” Lands February 23rd

Leaked way back in August of 2020, the premium Nike Dunk High “Light Chocolate” has evaded first looks for months. Only today has the pair surfaced for the first time, a mere 10 months after word first broke. While its initial speculative mock-ups were fairly straightforward, the actual release has presented something a little more complex in both blocking and material makeup.

Flipping a traditional suede and leather build, the pair shows up with the former as the pair’s base layer, working from plush chocolate hues at the mid panel and collar, to milky whites at the toe. The forefoot is then countered at the heel quarter by that same textile and is overlayed by a smooth leather Swoosh — also in white. Eyestays and toe caps are present in smooth light chocolate leathers, and are matched in hue at the laces. Dark choc returns to the collar and outsole before a splash of deep green at the tongue branding and heel pull arrive to complete the design.
