The Nike Dunk High Borrows AMBUSH Color Blocking

The ladies are poised to receive yet another new iteration of Peter Moore’s iconic 1985 Nike Dunk High, with the silhouette’s latest offering looking inward to a famous collaboration with AMBUSH for inspiration.

Though it passed up the opportunity to retool the body and Swooshes with Yoon’s ambitious design, the Swoosh has borrowed her white, royal, and black blocking and repurposed it for it’s own in-line release schedule. Save a sail tinted midsole and the inverted tongue tags, this new Nike Dunk High copies it one for one; you’ll find white leather uppers and nylon tongues working with overlays of deep royal blue. Swooshes and laces settle on black, with a white and blue sole unit resting underfoot to complete the design.

Hinting at an impending Nike.com release soon, official images of this White, Navy, and Black Nike Dunk High have landed. Given the timing of the pair’s official looks, one would suggest that an autumn release is on the cards.

Until more news arrives, grab a first and official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its US release.
