In 2022, the Swoosh has gone H.A.M. on Chinese New Year releases, from countless “Shapeless, Formless, Limitless” releases, to whimsical “Lion Dance” Air Force 1s for the little ones. The kids will also get their very own Tiger-themed Nike Dunk Low for the impending Lunar New Year — and now it’s confirmed that the adults will get their own version, too, albeit much taller and filled with significantly more detail, with official imagery of the Nike Dunk High “Year of the Tiger” coming to light.

Not being shy about its inspiration, the pair comes clad with 3D-embroidered tiger stripes across the pair’s quarter panels, overlays, and even on the Swooshes. The latter, along with the eyestays, feature an Asian-inspired silk textile, complete with fine decoration. All of this rests atop a black suede base, before reaching toes covered in coarse grey suede. There, you’ll spot a golden mini Swoosh to counter the rear detail, which is softened by muted golden hues at the satin liner and tongue embroidery. The latter flips up to reveal a trio of sycee hats, with further stitched details found on the vamp, liner, and tongue.. The pairs are then completed by semi-translucent — almost tortoiseshell-like — outsoles in a finish similar to that seen on the just-revealed Air Jordan 1 Low OG CNY.

Though a release date for the Nike Dunk High Year of the Tiger” is not yet known, it is expected to arrive in time for February’s festivities. Until then, you can enjoy a first and official look at the pair here below and as always be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
