Forever looking to reinvent their most famous colorway, Jordan Brand and their Nike, Inc. overlords have seemingly never run out of ideas for the “Chicago” colorway. From split-blocked Air Jordan 1s to reverse Mids and straight one-for-one SB Dunk Lows, the colorway is always at the forefront of the brand’s big silhouettes. Now it’s found a new home on the Nike Dunk Low — but not as you know it — as this new effort sees the colorway split, tweaked, and tinted with grey.
For the most part, the pair remains true to the original Air Jordan 1 High OG, with clean white leather uppers, striking red overlays, and bold black Swooshes — the latter, however, shows a back-end of grey, working from heavily tumbled leather in the backend, to smooth blacks up front. All of this sits atop an in-vogue sail midsole unit, with tri-colored outsoles of black, sail, and grey rounding out the design.
Though a release date for this all-new Nike Dunk Low “Chicago Split” is not yet known, it is expected soon. Until more details emerge, you can enjoy an updated look at the pair here below via @prvtselection
