Though it may seem like the Nike Dunk has delivered nothing but smooth-leather builds all year, the silhouette has often experimented with texture and tone. The upcoming “Cider” colorway is a great example, but even then, the design has stayed well within itself in terms of material. This new ballistic mesh and cracked-silver sneaker, on the other hand, is quite the opposite, despite being fairly tame in its color selection.
Anchored in a white mesh akin to that seen on the Dunk Low Disrupt, the pair then utilizes an intriguing cracked metallic silver finish across its overlays, save the Swoosh which settles on dusty nubuck, and embroidered heel panels of white leather. Black branding pops up again atop the mesh tongue, while laces of grey lock it all in. Underfoot, a two-tone white and grey sole unit resides to complete the design.
Pairs are expected to arrive by Fall, though a confirmed drop date is yet to be set. With more looks and a ton of information to follow, be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates — until then, you can enjoy an official look at the pair here below.
