The Nike Dunk’s college roots run deep. In fact, they were originally called the College Color High by designer Peter Moore, and was the ploy that Nike used to sign a slew of national colleges as their team’s official shoe. The University of Michigan, University of Kentucky, University of Iowa, Syracuse, St. John’s, UNLV, and Georgetown were those signed, and the rest was history. Ever since the colleges have been celebrated, with everything from Air Jordan PEs to OG Dunk Highs and Lows. And while this upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Georgetown” doesn’t fall into the latter category, it could quite easily have been one of the original releases from 1985’s first run.

Appearing for the first time today in kids sizes (adults is expected, too), we see a simply-blocked pair in its most basic of builds. Collegiate Navy overlays rest atop a light grey leather upper in true Hoyas tune, while a classic white midsole and navy outsole rest underfoot. Completing the design is Nike’s signature orange Air branding on int insole.

Though a release date for the Nike Dunk Low “Georgetown” not yet known, it is likely to arrive over the Summer of 2021. Until then, you can enjoy a first look at the GS-sized pair here below, and keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.

Official images of the adults-sized edition of the Nike Dunk Low “Georgetown” have arrived alongside a confirmed release date. Finish Line and JD Sports have identified October 15th as the date, so if you’re planning on picking up a pair on the day, make sure you head to our dedicated Nike Release Dates Calendar to set yourself a reminder for the drop.

Nike SNKRS has postponed their release of the Georgetown Dunks, shifting the drop to November 5th. At the time of publication, other retailers are still showing an October 15th release.
