The China-exclusive Nike Dunk Low "Hyperflat" release for SNKRS Day may not have been everybody's cup of tea, but its follow-up colorway might speak to more ears despite being much quieter in comparison.

Diving into the darker alleys of design, this latest iteration delves deep into a grayscale palette. The toe guard, emblazoned with an intricate gridded pattern, is reminiscent of gun-metal, providing a sharp contrast to the pitch-black lace collar and heel. This moody assembly is brilliantly juxtaposed with an almost iridescent, oily finish that shimmers subtly with movement. The iconic Swoosh, along with the retro heel-tab typography – a delightful blend of '60s groove and futuristic flair – is bathed in a lenticular gloss, making it an immediate eye-catcher.

But Nike doesn't stop there. Every corner of this sneaker has been meticulously detailed. The tongue pull-tabs, the unique Phillips-head rivets, and the smoke-grey translucent outsole collectively serve as the finishing strokes to this masterpiece.

While we wait for a confirmed release date, early whispers suggest that this alternative "Hyperflat" Dunk might be another exclusive gem reserved for the Greater China market.

Expect more details to emerge soon.
