Nike Dunk Low Gets a Multi-Material Makeover for Summer 2025

Coming out of the colossal Dunk wave hasn't been an easy feat for Nike. With the model having been at the center of sneaker culture for years, keeping it relevant without oversaturation is a fine balance. Though the Swoosh has leaned heavily into simple leather constructions, a shift toward extreme material makeovers has emerged as a promising way forward. The latest iteration takes that approach even further, blending an understated color palette with a unique mix of contemporary textures.

The material variety is the defining feature of this Dunk Low. Starting at the toe, a creamy canvas construction sets the stage, leading into worn-look mid panels in a washed white and beige finish. Neutral twill appears at the collars, while the overlays introduce a range of textures: from soft tumbled leather at the toe to suede along the midfoot and, finally, ostrich-textured leather at the heel.

Beneath the upper, a Coconut Milk-colored midsole adds to the vintage-inspired aesthetic, while a gum rubber outsole keeps things grounded in classic Nike heritage. As a final touch, a pop of blue arrives via a special braided decoration, subtly contrasting the otherwise neutral design.

Nike has not confirmed a release date, but this premium material-driven Dunk Low will land in the Summer of 2025.
