First Looks // Nike Dunk Low “Light Menta”

There has been much said about the Nike Dunk’s resurgence with the silhouette going from impossible to obtain, to cries of too many releases. Though Nike knows that you can’t please everyone, what it can do is cater to everyone’s color tastes. With more versatile options like the “Panda” and “Vast Grey”colorways, green Dunks are often an afterthought. But with the success of the recent “Kermit” colorway — and now this Nike Dunk Low “Light Menta” — the Swoosh continues to dip it’s toe into broad-spectrum tones.

For this release, Nike has deployed simple tri-tone color blocking of Mint Foam, White, and the titular Light Menta. It’s former that serves the pair’s tumbled leather upper, nylon tongue, liners, and outsoles, with white worked in at the Swoosh overlays and midsole. Lastly, the darker green of the title overlays the pair at the heel, midfoot, and toe, with tongue tags to match.

Though a release date for this new Nike Dunk Low “Light Menta” is not yet known, it is expected soon, and likely before the year’s end.
