Over the past 40 years, the Nike Dunk Low has surfaced in countless styles inspired by everything from Ben & Jerry's ice cream to the Grateful Dead's Dancing Bears. Recently, Peter Moore's iconic design has emerged in a few makeovers that nod to punk rock music and its historic venues, typical color palettes, and other touch points.

The 'Dunks Not Dead' and CBGB-inspired pair will soon be joined by a 'Pale Ivory'-covered option that also features a punk aesthetic. While the pair doesn't do much with its color palette, the distressed 'Off-Noir' panels around the heel seem at home alongside the aforementioned duo. Canvas and suede materials replace traditional leather construction across the upper, delivering a lighter package than normal. Branding on the tongue label and Achilles' heel overlay deviate from their surroundings in vibrant red, just as the Nike text on the insoles. Sock-liners also don a noisy black graphic, doubling-down on the rawness often associated with the punk genre.

Underfoot, Air Jordan 1-like outsoles indulge in a dark finish. Their speckled update, however, reveals that the shoe is part of Nike's Next Nature series, which aims to be more eco-friendly by upcycling materials.

Enjoy official photos of the latest Dunk Low ahead. Firm Nike.com release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's likely to change in the next two months. The pair is priced at $115.
