Peter Moore's Nike Dunk Low might not be hardcore sneakerheads' favorite model anymore, but the silhouette continues to emerge in new styles for longtime and new fans alike.
Since its revival in the late 2010s, the model has become a popular, go-to option amongst kids and women. The folks over in Oregon have noticed, outfitting the old school basketball sneaker in lifestyle-focused ensembles for fashion enthusiasts. The latest offering arrives in a straightforward two-tone color scheme. 'White' sets the stage for a seasonal 'Parachute Beige' that's previously been used by both Nike SB and Nike Running.
What sets the latest pair for women apart, however, is the lacing. Akin to ballerina-inspired footwear from other brands, the newly-surfaced low-top Nike Dunk features lace ribbon instead of traditional laces. The update isn't complemented by any other overt modification rooted in the ongoing Mary Jane trend, but it's enough to join rotations once it launches. Lastly, the Air Jordan 1-like outsole takes on a brownish look that features recycled Nike Grind material as part of the company's Next Nature initiative.
Enjoy official photos of the Women's-exclusive Dunk ahead. A firm Nike.com launch date hasn't been disclosed by the brand, but that's likely to change by the start of April.
