2002’s Nike Dunk Low “Mesa Orange” is a bonafide classic colorway. Just one look at the hefty aftermarket prices will tell you all you need to know about just how desirable the pair is. But, outside of a straight-up retro, this alternate option may be your best bet at a little bit of nostalgia.
Arriving clad in similar hues, the pair practically plus the coloring of the overlays and Swoosh, whilst adding a clean white upper in place of the classic’s beige finish. There’s also a handful of other tweaks, including white-lined tongues with white tags, orange liners, and white worked into the rear Nike stitching. Its sole units of white and brown are kept, while laces are seen here in burnt orange.
Though shades have been altered, the feels remain reminiscent of the classic, and, unless you’re willing to fork out about $1k for the two-decade-old release, these may just fill that void — for now.
