Amongst a sea of constant Nike themes, there’s been one that’s been more prevalent in 2022 than others: the Tinker Hatfield-founded “Safari” scheme. Surfacing on models like the Air Max 1, 95, and 97, as well as the LeBron 19 and a handful of Nike Dunks, it’s safe to say that the theme has been running wold in 2022 — pun intended. Now it’s appeared on another, with this Nike Dunk Low “Safari Swoosh” the ninth new release to see the scheme this year and the second in a color-matched series spring this exact design.

Arriving close to but distinctly different from the previously-previewed “Kumquat” colorway, this green-based release looks to identical tooling, with leather uppers, suede overlays, and the signature Safari-print Swoosh at the midfoot. Here, though, the leather looks to stoney greys, whilst the championing color arrives in leafy green.

Though a release date is not yet known for this Nike Dunk Low “Safari Swoosh” (Chlorophyll), it is expected soon — likely to form part of the brand’s Summer/Fall schedule.
