Amongst a sea of constant Nike themes, there’s been one that’s been more prevalent in 2022 than others: the Tinker Hatfield-founded “Safari” scheme. Surfacing on models like the Air Max 1, 95, and 97, as well as the LeBron 19 and a handful of Nike Dunks, it’s safe to say that the theme has been running wold in 2022 — pun intended. Now it’s appeared on another, with this Nike Dunk Low “Safari Swoosh” the eighth new release to see the scheme this year.

Anchored in classic white leather, the pair looks to orange overlays of nubuck that serve as a direct nod to Tinker’s OG Air Safari from 1987. The Swooshes are the biggest tribute, with the famously spotted print lending itself to the entirety of the overlay. The pair is then completed by simple touches, like flat white laces and tow-tone sole units underfoot.

Though a release date is not yet known for this Nike Dunk Low “Safari Swoosh” it is expected soon — likely to form part of the brand’s Summer/Fall schedule. Until then, you can enjoy a first look at the pair here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release.
