Yet again, the day ushers in a fresh interpretation of the revered Dunk Low, this round drawing inspiration from the kaleidoscopic vibes of the 1980s.
Breaking away from its hallmark, classic white leather build that has stood the test of time, the Dunk Low chooses to embrace an earthy sail shade. This serves as the perfect canvas for the lush green overlays that gracefully cascade over the sneaker. The synergy between navy and green is flawlessly harmonious; the latter envelopes the conventional toe, midfoot, and quarter panels, whilst the former lends its charm to the Swoosh, heel overlays, inner linings, and rubber outsoles. Cradled beneath these elegantly crafted overlays lies a sail-hued midsole, which melds almost imperceptibly with the upper. A bold dash of crimson on the tongue and heel branding adds a spirited and unexpected flourish, putting the finishing touch on the exterior.
The artistry, however, extends beyond what meets the eye; Nestled within lies a charming hidden treasure - a dual Nike emblem, taking a leaf from the lively realm of collegiate athletics. This not only adds depth to the design narrative but also pays tribute to Nike’s enduring alliance with the world of college basketball.
The design has also appeared in an alternate Teal Blue option.
