Although much attention is being paid to Jordan Brand's 40th anniversary, the Nike Dunk Low also celebrates 40 years of existence this year.
Designed by Peter Moore, the silhouette delivered hardwood-ready performance in a lighter package. Over the years, the Nike Dunk has lived two, three, and four lives as go-to options within the lifestyle space. A newly-surfaced pair clad in 'Photon Dust/Denim Turquoise/Smoke Grey/Sail' adds another tally to the now fashion-oriented sneaker's catalog.
Previous looks on Moore's design have taken on understated shades of grey and white. The upcoming pair's most eye-catching detail, then, is the 'Denim Turquoise' swooshes. The sky-reminiscent blue also animates tongue labels, Achilles' heel panels, and the Air Jordan 1-like outsole underfoot. Midsoles take on a slightly-yellowed finish that falls in line with the unshakeable 'faux aged' trend in footwear.
A firm Nike.com launch date for the Dunks hasn't been revealed by the brand as of yet, but that's likely to change by April. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.
