Where to Buy the Nike Dunk Low “Lemon Wash”
First looks at a new — possibly sustainable — Nike Dunk Low have arrived, and it’s already got the market salivating. The pair, which appears to feature a small percentage of Nike’s recycled Grind Rubber flecked through the outsole, is joined but an upper that’s free of leather, nubuck, and suede. In fact, the entire upper appears to be made of canvas, further sparking speculation that this new special-edition release is on the Earth-friendly end of the spectrum.
Each panel and overlay appears with its own unique color, some with prints, some left black, ranging through a spectrum of colors from denim blues to grey-white and mauve. Though differing in pattern and placement from panel to panel, prints arrive in just two colors, Midnight Turquoise and Cardinal Red, both of which appear again on the liner and heel branding hits respectively. A soft-yet-striking “Lemon Wash” is worn by the Swoosh, heel overlays and laces, immediately freshening up the otherwise dull upper. Underfoot sits a clean white midsole above the aforementioned Grind Rubber outsole, which here is shaded in sand.
A release date for this “Lemon Wash” Nike Dunk Low SP is yet to be revealed, but given the muted aesthetic of the pair, it’s likely that it will be part of the brand’s Fall lineup.
