With the market ever-hungry for Dunks, Nike will broaden its offerings in 2023 through a new, modified design dubbed the Nike Dunk Low Twist, Brendan Dunne of Complex reports.
Set to debut in the ever-popular “Panda” color scheme, the new model shows a multitude of new-yet-familiar elements, like double-layered overlays reminiscent of the Air Force 1 Low Shadow, and protruding Swoosh overlays akin to those seen on recent AMBUSH x Nike collaborations. There’s also inflated rear quilting and ‘bumpers’ at the toe and heel, amongst many other alterations.
In addition to the Panda proposition, there will be several follow-up releases, including options in White/Jade Ice, Coconut Milk/Vivid Sulfur, and Rush Fuchsia/Black.
The new model is expected to debut as part of the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 schedule, though recent supply chain issues may cause unforeseen delays.
Update Official Nike.com imagery for the Nike Dunk Low Twist “Panda” has landed; A release date has now been confirmed by JD Sports and Finish Line for August 3rd; A wider release will go down on Nike.com on November 11.
