Nike Presents the Dunk Low in White, Orange and Black Patent Leather

Nike will continue their long, strong run of Dunk Lows deep into 2022 with a new scheme that’s fit for Halloween — and it comes presented in patent leather.

A first glance at the pair would suggest that a basic build is on the cards, with its classic white leather upper, one-color overlays, and a simple black Swoosh set; but a closer inspection reveals that this simplistic painting of hues is juxtaposed by an atypical construct in crinkled patent leather. Yes, that crinkled patent that was made famous on the ill-fated “Shattered Backboard 3.0.” Here, though, it’s less noticeable thanks to a light bright base and a lessening of the finish throughout. Elsewhere, the pair is completed by standard finishes like nylon tongues and unadulterated sole units, though they do add in flat satin laces for a fresh final touch.
