The Nike Free Run craze defined the early 2010s. From gyms to shopping malls, morning runs to theme parks, it was the go-to shoe—lightweight, flexible, and everywhere. As the momentum peaked, Nike introduced a new spin in 2014: the Free Forward Moc N7, blending its barefoot-inspired tech with a moccasin-style upper as part of its ongoing N7 initiative.
Nike’s N7 program, which supports sport and wellness initiatives for Native American and Indigenous communities, has consistently delivered thoughtful and unique designs—and the Forward Moc was no exception.
Now, 11 years on, Nike is bringing the silhouette back. Official images of the 2025 retro have just surfaced, confirming that the reissue will return in its original black, white, and teal colorway. It’s a faithful revival of a sleeper hit that blended function, heritage, and future-forward style long before “lifestyle performance” became the norm.
A release is expected this summer, with more details to follow soon. Stay locked to our Nike Release Calendar for updates as they arrive.
Also returning this summer from Nike is the Air Jordan 4 OG "White Cement"
