It’s official, the (arguably) world’s most perfect trainer — the Nike Free Run 2 — is set for a comeback of epic proportions in 2021, with now a third new colorway unveiled. Following on from the White/Black and Black/White options comes something with color — and one that’s reminiscent of a notable past release.
Arriving in a similar palette to 2012’s Doernbecher release, as well as a handful of other GR drops from over the years. Just as we saw on the aforementioned monochromatic releases, it too receives a premium material upgrade. Gone are the typical leather overlays and screen-printed Swooshes in favor of navy suede and orange embroidery. More orange arrives on the liner and underfoot tread, while uppers of bright Photo Blue form the bulk. Undercaging arrives in bright white to complement the laces and segmented Free Run sole to complete the design.
Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see this Nike Free Run 2 “Photo Blue” (and likely more colorways) hit select retailers in the coming weeks. So while we await further details, grab a quick look at the pair here below and be sure to keep our eyes glued to our official Twitter accountfor updates.
