Though the Free Run tooling is no longer at the top of Nike Running’s endeavors, it’s certainly not forgotten about. The revolutionary cushioning caused waves when it first landed over a decade ago, and with the start of a mini resurgence by way of the Free Run 2 and Free Run Trail in 2021, it appears that the second break is coming to shore. Following on from a handful of introductory pairs comes this new proposition of the mad-flexible footwear in a striking “Concord” colorway.
Consistent with a handful of recent releases, this iteration of the Nike Free Run Trail forgoes its typical construction in favor of a dual mesh and suede construct. The former sits as the pair’s upper in pure white, whilst the latter encases the pair in suede its titular blue-purple hue. Accents of Black, Habanero Red and Taxi Yellow come crashing in across the Swoosh and pulls, and laces and soles to complete the design.
A release date for this Nike Free Run Trail “Concord” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks. Until more news arrives, you can enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further updates.
