The Swoosh’s running division has sure come a long way since the Nike Free Run 2, but despite the technological and comfort advancements, the silhouette is still held in high regard — likely due to its nostalgic appeal. It was, after all, a sneaker that literally everyone had, from the soccer moms to the gym junkies, to the runners and even those not at all interested in anything athletic.

Because of this widespread love, it was only going to be a matter of time before Nike reintroduced it back into the market, and at about the halfway point of 2021, they did. It’s seen straight-up black and white mesh retros, to premium suede overhauls, with this next option slotting somewhere in between them both, with its simple white mesh anchor and colorful suede and plasticized overlays of green and berry upping the appeal.
