This New Nike Go FlyEase Boasts a Blue and White Build

Nike’s first true hands-free shoe certainly had an explosive impact on the market. It was unveiled on February 1st and subsequently launched on April 30th, and, like most releases, was sold out in minutes. It seems the resellers had no soul, snapping up accessible kicks from the hands of those differently-abled, and there was a slew of criticism following almost immediately after — inclusive of viral TikTok videos, blog posts, and overarching outcry amongst sneakerheads. It’s been a while since its tumultuous debut releases, but Nike, hoping that the dust has settled, is ready to roll out the next run of colorways — hopefully with a significant increase in production numbers to avoid further controversy.

For the differently-abled, the breakthrough design is huge, as previous iterations of FlyEase found on everything from Air Max to Air Jordan options have required some initial setup, whereas this really does not. The laceless pair’s bi-stable hinge found at the midfoot is coupled with a tension band that runs the length of the midsole, and creates a true hands-free “on” and “off” functionality.

The first of a few new colorways to come is this blue-hued release, one which works through a handful of muted shades across it’s upper, sole, and band, and works with white and beige midsoles pivoted in the center by striking pops of red. Branding is tonal throughout, but still noticeable enough — because, y’know, visible Swooshes matter.

An official Nike.comrelease date hasn’t been confirmed by the brand, but we’re not expecting to see these hit the official Nike restore until 2022. Until more details emerge, grab an official look at this new blue Nike Go Flyease here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for updates.
