The Nike Air Max “I-95” Pack Drops On January 26th

Nike takes a road trip.

Most of us have traveled along the long-stretching I-95 of the East Coast, an almost 2000 mile long path that connects Floria to Maine. For some of us, it sparks memories of long-haul trips, for others, it’s a road they take each and every day.

Nike’s “I-95 Pack” is a showcase of inspired elements from the long-ass drive. Both the Air Max 95 and AM 97 depict diagonal line motifs, calling on the pavement and bitchumen colors for the inspiration. The bold hits of color separate the basic palates, with the 95 taking on golden-yellow, likely representing outer lane lines or the frequently-found road construction vehicles. The 97 takes on green, a color not only found in its surroundings but on a thousand or more signs passed along the way.
