The ISPA line of sneakers for Nike has always been one to push the boundaries of what’s “allowed” — in fact, it’s just straight-up ignored them. From its alien-like Air Max 720 ISPAof which even Kanye was intrigued enough to try on — to the upcoming 8,000-pair-limited mass that is somehow a piece of footwear, it’s clear to see that the division’s IDGAF attitude shines through on every release. And once again, with the revelation of the all-new Nike ISPA OverReact, it’s the ta;king point of the sneaker world once more.

This latest experiment, which caters more towards runners and outdoor explorers, still rocks an incredible streetwear appeal. Comfort looks to be the primary objective, with thick, chunky — and blatantly ugly — React sole units literally exploding out from underfoot. It’s seemingly random, rugged geometric tread is akin to the face of a rocky mountain, instantly aligning the release with trail wear. Up top, you’ll find a laceless woven Flyknit upper, a vamp lock-down clip, and an abundance of organically-shaped overlays. Dual rear pulls and tear-away tongue tags add further utilitarian flair, and the sneaker is capped off with some minor 3M reflective detail.

Debut colorways come from completely different ends of the spectrum; one arriving anchored in jet black and popped with neon green and orange — this one also sports a grid-like pattern throughout the weave. The other, a much more subdued release, arrive in earthy beige and bone and is joined by a patchwork-like mix of red and indigo fibers.

A release date for the debut duo is now confirmed for July 9th with pairs set to arrive at stores like END and Nike.com for $180. So while you wait on their release, take in an official look at both pairs here below, and keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for further additions to our buyers guide.
