The Nike Ja 2 "Induction" Releases September 26

Ja Morant's remarkable college career at Murray State is being celebrated uniquely, with the release of a special edition of his Nike Ja 2, dubbed "Induction."

Scheduled to hit shelves on September 26th, this sneaker honors Morant's induction into the Murray State Hall of Fame—a tribute to his explosive collegiate seasons that left an indelible mark on the school’s basketball legacy.

The Nike Ja 2 "Induction" reflects Morant's Murray State years through its sophisticated color palette and choice of materials. The overlays sport a mix of blue and cream, echoing the school's colors, while rich brown mesh on the toe and tongue introduces a layer of depth and texture. Accentuating Morant's personal touch, his signature is emblazoned on the tongue tag, making each pair personally homage to his achievements.

Originally, the player-exclusive version was presented in a special wooden box to mark the occasion, but the retail version will be packaged in a standard Ja 2 box.

This release, priced at $120, celebrates Morant's past while looking forward to the future.
