The Nike Ja 3 might've had a short-lived run during the first round of the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs, but the latest signature model for Ja Morant has already been heralded by athletes and casuals alike.
Over the last two months, Nike Basketball's design has been teased through official and unofficial channels, building hype for what many have immediately considered Morant's best shoe to date (and one of the Swoosh's most promising models of recent memory). The sneaker has already been confirmed in a number of color schemes, but Instagram user @yyt_snkrs recently previewed a "Sail/White/Black" option that could launch before the end of the year.
Reminiscent of the Kobe 6 "All-Star 2.0" Protro that dropped in June, the unreleased Ja 3 features a breathable, but protected upper that boasts a two-tone medley from forefoot the heel. Vertical swooshes that help form JA text deviate in a pitch-dark, glossy finish. The contained midsole underfoot reverts to an off-white presentation that's sure to sell out if the pair ever releases.
Enjoy detailed shots of the basketball shoe ahead. A Nike.com launch should take place by November.
