The Nike KD 18 "EYBL" Releases Soon

Kevin Durant might've not had the 2024-25 NBA season he had hoped for, but the League veteran still managed to average 26 points while shooting a Field Goal percentage of 52.7. Additionally, he unveiled his Nike KD 18 signature model during the season, which will soon release in an eye-catching style commemorating the Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).

First seen on-court in early March, the pair was initially believed to be a Player-Exclusive edition for Durant. Official photos and retailer launch dates, however, confirm that the bold offering will release at retail. The "EYBL" KD 18 is officially clad in a "Metallic Silver/Green Strike/Dusty Sage/Dark Smoke Grey" color scheme, with the bulk of the sneaker opting for a shimmering finish. Elements from the Swoosh's All Conditions Gear (ACG) line couple well with the metallic touch, which introduces an iridescent look to the pair. A near-fluorescent green gradient is visible at the toe box and tongue.

Nods to the youth league arrive on the tongues, with the right shoe donning a debossed EYBL logo instead of traditional kd branding. Insoles follow suit. Radial traction underfoot reverts to a greyscale presentation, while an additional set of "Green Strike" laces complete the package.
