After debuting in colorways tied to KD’s personal story, the Nike KD 18 now looks outward with the upcoming “International Blue” edition, set to release in Fall 2025.
An unmistakable nod to the original Nike Air Foamposite One, this pair echoes the iconic “Royal” colorway through its vibrant metallic blue finish. Glossy molded overlays hug the black mesh base, adding structure and shine, while giving the KD 18 a similar futuristic edge that made the Foamposite a legend. Branding details include a large KD emblem on the tongue and a reflective silver Swoosh on the heel panel.
Full-length Zoom cushioning remains underfoot, wrapped in a matching blue foam midsole for smooth responsiveness. A translucent glow-green outsole rounds out the design, delivering both grip and an added visual spark.
With international competition heating up and Olympic energy on the horizon, the “International Blue” colorway speaks to Durant’s ongoing global presence while subtly saluting one of Nike Basketball’s most daring designs.
