Nike Basketball continues to give Kevin Durant's signature sneaker line the retro-treatment. Up next?: The KD 6 "Seat Pleasant," a pair dedicated to the NBA star's hometown in Maryland.
First seen during Summer 2013, the basketball shoe features a "Sonic Yellow/Midnight Navy/Tropical Teal" color scheme. According to Romania's Sneaker Market, the Seat Pleasant, Maryland-honoring style returns as part of the Swoosh's Spring 2027 lineup of product.
Durant and his Nike Family are currently prepping a widespread launch of the KD 19, a performance model that draws inspiration from the player's "Slim Reaper" moniker and that's piqued the interest of many due to its future-forward aesthetic. The modern design differs from the 13-year-old yellow-and-teal KD 6, but both reflect Durant's personal story and his pursuit of greatness on-the-court.
Stay tuned for firm Nike.com launch details and official photos. Pairs should land before April 2027.
