Kobe fans will be jumping for joy with the news that the Kobe 5 “Choas” AKA “Joker” will be returning in 2019 – exactly 10 years to the day it first released back in 2009. Like all of Kobe’s retros thus far, it will return in Protro form, continuing Nike’s trend of updating retros with modernized tech to fit the current climate. The news arrives through leaked internal catalogs issued by Nike, which not only show a handful of new LeBron 17colorways, but also a potential restock of the Nike Fear of God 1:

Not only is this hella exciting news standalone, but it could potentially mean more Kobe 5s are on the way in 2020. Colorways like this pair’s opposing release, The Dark Knight, and the iconic “Big Stage” colorways would likely be at the top of the list for many — but we digress.
As seen in the tweet above, the pairs are set to arrive in Asia December 26th, 2019., with an *updated* North American release now pushed out to January 3rd for $180 Take a peep at the pair below and be sure to keep your eyes locked on HOUSE OF HEAT for further updates, including a comprehensive Where to Buy Guide that’s sure to fill up over the coming days.
