Vanessa Bryant has been captivating the hearts of Kobe fans worldwide with exclusive sneaker reveals, from the "Wifey" Kobe 8s to the thematic Kobe 4s for Valentine's Day and even a leopard-print Kobe 8. Continuing this heartfelt homage to her late husband, she unveils another poignant piece: the Nike Kobe 6 "Dodgers." This newest reveal pays a touching tribute to Kobe and Vanessa's affection for the Los Angeles Dodgers, a team that not only represents their home city but also stands as a symbol of excellence and resilience, much like Kobe's legacy on the basketball court.

Echoing the Dodgers' iconic color scheme, the Nike Kobe 6 "Dodgers" sports a clean, two-tone royal blue and white palette. Its design speaks volumes of Kobe's connection to the city of Los Angeles and its storied baseball franchise. The sneakers are notably adorned with jersey-style red #8s on the lateral ankles, a direct nod to one of Kobe's legendary Lakers numbers. However, the baseball-style stitching on the tongue genuinely ties the theme together, blending the worlds of basketball and baseball in a single, seamless tribute.

While initial reports speculated that this special edition Kobe 6s were destined solely for LA franchise players and wouldn't see a public release, new information sourced by House of Heat° and Elden suggests that the pair—or a general release version of it—will be released in Summer 2025.

The upcoming retail pair will share some similarities under the official guise of "Game Royal/White-University Red" (CW2190-400).

Even if we do get an entirely different design, the connection between silhouette and Major League franchise has now been tightly woven and will likely carry the same moniker.

Expect more details to emerge soon.
