One of four So-Cal-influenced All-Star colorways created for the Black Mamba, the “Orange County” Nike Kobe 6 quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its piping hot color palette and vibrant sole unit. Now, fans of the sneaker will get their chance to re-up on the pair come 2021, with the pair expected to retro for its 10th anniversary next Fall.
You can expect to see a one-for-one reissue, with the sneakers dressed in the same Orange Peel, Black, and Cannon color scheme arranged in gradients to reflect a Southern Cali sunset. Light teal heel clips and Swooshes will again be met by jet black midsoles and a mid-teal outsole, while an illustrated starfish on the insole will complete the design.
A specific date for the 10th-anniversary Nike Kobe 6 “Orange County” reissue is yet to be determined, but you can expect a release over the Fall season. Until then, you can enjoy a look at the 2011 pair here below.
