Although all Kobe-related releases have been pulled from shelves for the time beating, it appears that the Black Mamba’s footwear legacy will live on well into 2021 with the continuation of his reissued Protro lineage. Next year is expected to focus on the Kobe 6, with news filtering through of a reissue of Bean’s All-Star sneakers from 2011.
@SHOF reports that the pair is tipped to arrive in the same Challenge Red, Black, and White color scheme, but may well differ slightly in detail. It is, of course, the 10-year anniversary of the sneaker, a pair that was worn by Bryant to claim the NBA All-Star MVP award that is now named after him — this will be a special release. Pairs are tipped to arrive early 20201, but with the next year’s NBA season now tipped to start in December, the All-Star break will likely be moved closer to the end of Spring.
