A few days before the celebration of Black History Month kicked off, Vanessa Bryant took to the ‘gram on the eve of February to tease a special-edition Kobe 6 Proto “BHM” – a pair that is rumored to release later this month.
Back in 2011, the silhouette saw its own BHM release in bold black and gold that was befitting of the broader Nike Basketball collection. For 2023, an entirely new scheme has been devised, with graduating cream-to-mocha gradients dressing the upper, midsole, and rear clips. It’s met by airbrushed pink and blue Swooshes, with color-matched heels, and staple black rubber outsoles rounding out the design.
Should the pair release, it will be the first signature Kobe Bryant release since last May’s Mambacita release that honored the life of Gigi Bryant.
