Ever since the announcement of the Kobe Brand's relaunch on August 24th, the anticipation and fervor for both new and classic releases have surged dramatically. The latest to join the line-up is the retro release of the Nike Kobe 6 "Italian Camo."
Initially unveiled in June 2011, the "Italian Camo" Kobes delivered an intriguing twist to Bryant's sixth signature model with its stealthy aesthetic. The original model boasted a color scheme of "Multi-Color," "Crimson," "Black," and "White," drawing its inspiration from the uniforms of the Italian military. While this understated iteration of the Kobe 6 was not Bryant's only nod to the country he once considered home, it is the first rumored return since the basketball icon's tragic passing.
Enjoy a detailed examination of the 2011 pair below — and now a first in-hand look at the 2024 re-release — and expect to learn more about the retrospective release as we edge closer to the pair's expected return on Nike.com and select retailers on April 13, 2024.
