Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks are making a push for their first NBA title run in ages, currently sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference. Although half of the 2025-26 season is yet to pan out, as are Playoffs, the Knickerbockers seem ready. Throughout their run thus far, the team's go-to floor general has been lacing up special editions of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro.
In a mid-November matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, Brunson unveiled a sunrise-reminiscent version of the late Kobe Bryant's sixth signature model with Nike Basketball. The Knicks won that game by just two points, with Brunson dropping 28 in 35 minutes. Last night, number 11 for the Knicks took to Instagram to share studio photos of the multi-colored Kobes. A Statue of Liberty-inspired pair followed a similar timeline during Brunson's last NBA Playoffs run, although it's unsure whether or not the "Sunrise" style will remain a Player-Exclusive (PE).
Enjoy detailed shots of the shoe ahead. Pairs could eventually release via Nike.com, although that's yet to be confirmed by either party involved.
