Nike Unveils Outdoor-Ready Kobe Ball for Fall 2025

As Nike continues to roll out new products under the revitalized Kobe line, the brand is adding a fresh off-court essential to the mix: a new Nike Kobe-branded basketball. Slated for a Fall 2025 release, the all-new outdoor-ready ball will retail for $30 USD.

Built on Nike’s durable 8P construction, the ball features a textured all-black surface with golden seams that nod to the Mamba’s Lakers legacy. Dual-branding in Lakers purple and gold appears via Kobe’s Sheath logo and a complementary Swoosh, keeping the look unified and unmistakably Black Mamba. Designed for outdoor use, the rubber build and deep-channel grooving offer improved grip and control for pickup games and training sessions alike.

Priced at an accessible $30, the Nike Kobe 8P basketball will hit Nike.com and select retailers this Fall.
