Update 12.25.19 Official images of the Nike Kyrie 6 “CNY” have landed ahead of their expected release next month, with a suspected release date set for January 15th. With retailer lists expected to land soon, be sure to keep your eyes glued to our dedicated Nike Release Dates Calendar, as well as our Twitter Feed for further developments.OG Post 11.22.19 // Chinese New Year sneaker releases are starting to surface: First, it was the time-tested Air Force 1, now the next to bob it’s head up is one of the Swoosh brand’s newest silhouetted, the Nike Kyrie 6. The silhouette has already hit the Asian market with a bang, thanks to cities throughout the continent receiving regional-specific editions of the “Pre Heat” launch collection — and now Kyrie and co will look to amplify their presence with a celebratory CNY iteration.
As colorful as always, the Kyrie silhouettes never show timidness when it comes to CNY editions. This year, the navy and purple-based pair pops with regal gold embroidered Swooshes, vibrant yellow laces, and an extremely complex and colorful midfoot lockdown strap. Bright blue heel panels add an extra layer of sauce, while a subtle tonal embroidery motif on the heels completes the design.
