Kyrie Irving and Nike have more in store for Chinese New Year 2020, with this alternate Yellow edition of his sixth signature sneaker surfacing online earlier today.
Featuring less traditional embellishments — but more color and vibrancy — than its black/purple predecessor, the pair’s only callouts to the annual festivities come by-way-of the collaged forefoot print, which features traditional motifs mixed with some of Nike’s classic logos, and the brand’s 2020 CNY badge on the right tongue. The vibrant yellow leather rear and tongue come complimented by matching colored outsoles, while bold black midsoles separate te two. The rubberized heel piece arrives in teal, while the icy-translucent midfoot lockdown strap arrives embellished with All-Seeing Eyes all over. Completing the design are a few more flashes of color: Metallic Gold embroidery outlining the profile Swooshes, green liners, purple laces, and purple and orange pops underfoot,
