First appearing on a duo of LeBron PEs in celebration of his move to South Beach, the iconic LeBronald Palmer colorway has become a beacon for collectors of the not-for-retail era of LeBrons. In 2015, the colorway appeared on the 12 Low, and despite its contrast in availability, it still remains a revered favorite amongst Kings collectors. Now, after a hefty hiatus, the tropical theme has reappeared on the LeBron 18 Low — and it’s releasing as early as next week.
Arriving in the same vein as the 12 Low, the tropical, leafy print makes a return atop a lemon-yellow base, while pops of Bright Mango burst into the branding and Air supports. Rear clips again revert to New Green hues, while new features like all-green tongues and white midsoles add a fresh twist, though overall it still harnesses the energy and aura of a holiday to the tropics.
