Nike Basketball unveiled the long-anticipated Nike LeBron 23 on Sept. 3 to much fanfare. Anticipation and praise for LeBron James' latest signature model has only increased since due to the unveiling of the full Forever King Collection at a special event in China. The Swoosh put together a walk down memory lane for "the kid from Akron"'s career, showcasing the depth in storylines that've followed the NBA superstar throughout his career.
A total of 23 pairs of the newest Nike LeBron sneaker are expected over the following year, broken up into three eras of James' career: "The Chosen 1 Arrives" (2002-2010); "Taking the Throne" (2010-2018); and "Long Live the King," (2018-Present). Premium and elevated apparel help retell 23 different moments in the 40-year-old's illustrious career. Graphic t-shirts by the Nike Basketball Apparel Team lead the charge, accompanying every LeBron 23 release.
Everything from Sports Illustrated nicknaming James "The Chosen One" in 2002 to becoming the first NBA player to score 40,000 points on March 2, 2024 is immortalized on the shoes and graphic tees. Other designs reference James' dominance of the Toronto Raptors ("LeBronto") and his signing with Nike at the beginning of his NBA career ("Shoe Bag").
A global Nike.com launch for the collection kicks off on Friday, Oct. 3, with the "Uncharted" LeBron 23. Additional releases take place throughout the coming months. Check out all shirts ahead as e-commerce picture become available.

"Uncharted"
SKU: IH8536-045
A celebration of James breaking the NBA's all-time scoring record.

"Bubble Boy"
SKU: IH8547-100
A cheeky way of commemorating the Los Angeles Lakers' 2020 NBA Title. The graphic resembles Walt Disney's art style, which nods to widespread criticism about LeBron James' "Mickey Mouse Ring."

"The Chosen One and the One Who Chose"
SKU: IH8541-045
LeBron James and his eldest son, Bronny, became the NBA's first father-son duo to play on the same team at the same time. This t-shirt commemorates the occasion.

"Heat Wave"
SKU: IH8571-100
Inspired by an iconic (and ever-memeable) photo of LeBron James dunking while Dwayne Wade is in the foreground with his arms wide open.

"From this 'Point-Forward'"
SKU: IH8538-045
Sports Illustrate would forever be linked to James' story by dubbing him "The Chosen One" on its February 2002 cover. Twenty-three years later, the Ohio-native has lived up to expectations, while breaking others. He's famously considered a hybrid between point guard and power forward, hence the name of this style.

"Miami Twice"
SKU: IH8549-045
A nod to James' back-to-back NBA Titles and Finals MVP awards while with the Miami Heat.

"Stocking Stuffer"
SKU: IH8550-045
LeBron James has set the record for most NBA Christmas Day Games played. This t-shirt serves as a reminder.
