H-Town Homage
Nike’s run of LeBron 3 Releases in retro PE colorways continues on, with the one of the rarest LeBron PEs set to make a retail debut to kick off the month of May.
The famed “Houston Oilers” Nike LeBron 3 originally surfaced back in 2006, serving as a nod to the NFL franchise previously known as the Houston Oilers (now the Tennessee Titans,) created for friends and family to celebrate that year’s All-Star Game held in H-Town. It has since gone on to be held in the highest regard for serious LeBron collectors and even went on to inspire — to a degree — Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 4.
May 1st is the day locked in for the pairs first-ever retail release, with pairs fetching $175 MSRP — one drastically lower than the OG PE aftermarket price. Take a peep at the official image set below, before heading to Nike SNKRS on June 23rd to try your luck on the W.
