OG Post 12.23.19 // The Nike LeBron 7 “China Moon” caused HAVOC when they released in celebration of the annual October festival back in 2009, with only a handful of House of Hoops locations across the country receiving pairs. To this day, they remain a grail for hardcore LeBron fans, with pairs still fetching a cool half-stack on the aftermarket. But for those who missed out way back when, and for those who don’t want to fork out twice-over retail for a pair, then we’ve got some good news: It’s coming back.
That is what Korean sneaker blogger @street8oy is saying, who took to the gram early this morning to spread the good news. Like the LeBron 7 retros we’ve received thus far, you can expect a one-for-one replication of the OG, including its semi-translucent upper, white leather overlays and shiny gold mudguards. Metallic gold hardware is expected to return, too.
Style codes and pricing was not supplied with the original report, but a release date was — January 2nd. For further updates on the release, including a comprehensive Where to Buy Guide, make sure you’re following us on Twitter!
