The extensive Nike and Converse x Space Jam collection revealed back at the start of this month has late-inclusion. Omitted from the official unveiling, this Nike LeBron 8 “Space Jam” has surfaced sporting a fitting digital theme given from what we’ve seen in trailers. The mostly black and orange arrangement features soft black nubucks at the toe and eyestay overlays, before working back into alternating panels of dark-based iridescent and Space Jam-specific circuit boards. the latter features silhouettes of both Bugs and James worked into the circuitry, while heels show the two in Dunkman poses in illustrations that match the upcoming film art. Panels, Swooshes, and upper eyelets all sport a heated orange and yellow gradient finish for some much-needed vibrance. That ties into the Tune Squad tongue branding to complete the upper, with the pair completed by a white midsole and glow-in-the-dark outsole combo.
