First surfacing on the LeBron 3 Low, the King’s commercial connection to Sprite has shone through on his footwear for almost two decades. The beverage has gone on to grace many silhouettes, but none (aside from the LeBron 12 Sprite Mix Pack) have been more memorable than 2011’s Nike LeBron 8 V2 “Sprite”. Now it’s set to return for its 10th anniversary, with pairs expecting to retro as early as next month.
Arriving at the heat of LeBron’s Heat-era hype, the pair arrived donning the marketing duds of the soft drink. It’s built with a synthetic and mesh upper of “Treasure Blue” and anchored by the then-in-vogue lateral Flywire technology. A Volt Green interior and Swooshes draw attention to the counters and collar, but not more notable than the full-length Max Air 360 underfoot in a fresh lemon-lime hue.
