Following the news of the 10th-anniversary return of King James’ eight signature silhouette in an all-new Lakers-theme comes word on the release of the sneaker’s first original colorway — a St Vincent-St Mary Away PE that was issued to players of LeBron’s alma mater back in 2011.
This will be the first time the Nike LeBron 8 “SVSM Away” will see a retail release, which has got rare collectors a little heated, following the trend of PE-turned-retailed pairs like the LeBron 7 “Fairfax”and LeBron 3 “SVSM Home”. Early news has the pair pegged for release in late 2020/earl 2021, with an announcement of next season’s NBA schedule expected to dictate when exactly these will drop. We don’t yet have visuals on the impending release, but you should expect to see a one-for-one release to the original.
Below we have provided some visuals of 2011’s Nike LeBron 8 “SVSM Away” to give you an idea of what to expect for the release until firs looks arrive, and make sure you’re following HOUSE OF HEAT of Twitter for all the latest updates.
