Nike Little Posite One “Gold Stars” Gears-Up for December 12th Drop

Contrary to the silhouette’s recent decline in popularity of late, the Nike Aiir Foampsoite lineage saw somewhat of a mini-resurgence in 2020 with a pretty solid lineup of options sprinkled throughout the year. Though many still scoff at the exorbitant price point, some releases like the “Anthracite” One, “White/Black/Uni Red” Pro, and the Gradeschool “Bodega Bag” Ones were all hot commodities, proving once again that there is still some life left in the futuristic silhouette. Like the latter, this next-up Nike Little Posite One “Gold Stars” again experiments with prints, with the titular finish applied intermittently throughout.

Foamposite shells for the release come dressed in a gleaming obsidian leather, while tonal finishes applied to the eyelets, mesh tongue, and liner all arrive matte in comparison. The semi-translucent rubber outsole boasts a striking “Baltic Blue”, with the hue continuing above the upper and onto the front and rear pulls. From there, metallic golds are ushers in at the vamp and rear embroidery, the latter forgoing the traditional 1 Cent logo in favor of a Nike Hoops motif. The titular graphics arrive situated behind the forefoot and rear branding in a tonal glaze, while the championing midfoot shank is speckled with golden vectors from end to end. Completing the design is a special set of insoles, seen below with a star-surrounded One Cent logo in a metallic gold glaze.
