Following the momentum of earlier colorways and the broader success of models like the Calm Slide, the slip-on category appears to be firmly in Nike’s sights — and with several new iterations on the horizon for 2026, the Nike Mind 001 “White & Speed Red” arrives as one of the next in line.

Built around Nike’s Mind Science platform, the Nike Mind 001 differs from typical comfort-driven slides by focusing on sensory response and neurological balance. The concept centers on helping wearers feel calm, regulated, and mentally centered through carefully designed pressure zones underfoot.

The Nike Mind 001 “White & Speed Red” introduces a clean, high-contrast finish to the sculpted mule silhouette. The upper arrives in crisp white foam with subtle perforations across the vamp for ventilation, while a glossy black Swoosh at the lateral side adds a minimal branding touch. Beneath the foot, the model’s defining feature is a set of bright Speed Red circular pressure nodes embedded in the outsole.

These raised pods are engineered to stimulate key points on the sole of the foot, forming the foundation of Nike’s Mind Science approach. Inside, the footbed carries the “Nike Mind” and “Mind Science Department” markings, reinforcing the model’s focus on neuroscience-informed design rather than traditional cushioning or softness.

The slip-on construction remains simple and functional, with sculpted sidewalls and a padded collar to keep the foot secure without straps or laces. The result is a minimalist mule that blends recovery-inspired design with Nike’s growing exploration of neurological wellness in footwear.
